About

In the Art nothing is for sure until an attempt is accomplished. Although, nothing is for sure thereafter as well. Sweet Samson's work converses with nonobjective realm of abstraction and an idea of nonlinearity of creative process fascinates the artist.

The concepts of handmade and industrially produced are collocated in Samson's work. Most of the pieces are fully or partially made of carbon fiber. Given the distinctive qualities and mechanical traits of the carbon fiber, the artist is interested in creating visual experiences through deconstruction of carbon fiber's specified characteristics, such as weave and evenness, as well as deformation the patterning and recombining the material with painted gestures. At times  carbon fiber is used in a place of a conventional canvas with a craft element of inlay techniques added to the equation. The process results into a manifold of forms.
